Family Owned and Family Operated


Although it's been in operation for over 15 years, Andres and Adrian Garcia became the owners and operators of Avivo Brick Oven Pizzeria in 2021. By partnering with Adrian's father, David J Hensley, they were able to purchase the business and assume operations of the restaurant on March 1st. David's wife and son, (Caroline & Jaydon) also work in the restaurant as a server and cook, respectively. Together the entire family has a combined total of 40+ years of restaurant experience. Their goal is to build upon the successes that Avivo has enjoyed in the past in order to make it the best brick oven pizza spot in town and to give the restaurant a local Wichita vibe while maintaining the modern Italian Bistro motif.


The Hensley/Garcia family ownership and operation of this restaurant is hyper-focused on providing a fun, safe, and warm atmosphere to work in for our staff; and we love on our staff like they were our own family. Our entire culture is family-focused and designed to allow each and every guest who walks through our door to get the best possible food, service, and overall experience that they deserve.
