Although it's been in operation for over 15 years, Andres and Adrian Garcia became the owners and operators of Avivo Brick Oven Pizzeria in 2021. By partnering with Adrian's father, David J Hensley, they were able to purchase the business and assume operations of the restaurant on March 1st. They quickly hired Adrian's sister, Micha, to help manage the business. Together the four of them have a combined total of 40+ years of restaurant experience. Their goal is to build upon the successes that Avivo has enjoyed in the past in order to make it the best brick oven pizza spot in town and to give the location a local Wichita vibe while maintaining the modern Italian Bistro motif. Andres and Adrian want this family-owned, family-run business to become the legacy they build for their children.
